The Horizon Residence

The Horizon Residence is a masterwork of contemporary residential architecture, perched on the scenic cliffs of Malibu. Every design element was crafted to maximize the connection between the interior spaces and the vast Pacific Ocean views. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls dissolve the boundary between inside and out, while cantilevered terraces extend the living spaces over the dramatic landscape below. The material palette celebrates natural textures — warm white oak flooring, honed limestone countertops, and exposed concrete walls create a dialogue between raw and refined. A central courtyard brings natural light deep into the home, while a 60-foot infinity pool appears to merge with the horizon. Sustainability was integral to the design: photovoltaic panels, rainwater harvesting, and passive cooling strategies ensure the home treads lightly on its spectacular site.
